UNIVET®’S GLUCOSAMINE SULPHATE helps maintain healthy cartilage and proper joint health and function. It is designed as an oral powder containing 2,000 mg per dose in a flavoured base. UNIVET®’S GLUCOSAMINE SULPHATE is used as a supplemental source of glucosamine sulphate. Glucosamine sulphate is one of the building blocks of proteoglycans, the ground substance of cartilage. When sufficient levels of glucosamine are present, cartilage retains its ability to hold water and act as a shock absorber. UNIVET®’S GLUCOSAMINE SULPHATE is made from the purest grade available.
Each scoop (28.4) supplies 2000 mg of Glucosamine Sulphate in a highly palatable base.

In 1996 I bought a 5kg tub of your glucosamine at Apple Saddlery for an equine friend. It lasted and helped her for the rest of her life. From there, it also helped a few cows over the years and more recently when my almost 30 year old mare, Rose, began to develop severe problems with one of her knee joints, it maintained its efficacy and still helped tremendously over 25 years later. Then the tub ran out. Your product was no longer at Apple Saddlery and the tub was old enough to have lost most of its writing.
I researched a myriad of other joint products and bought and tried a few including Purica Recovery Extra Strength and also a Glucosamine Plus product and a straight glucosamine. One product seemed to help a bit (H4H glucosamine), but nothing like your company’s glucosamine had and was a battle to get her to consume (she can sense meds at 500 paces). I attributed that to progression of the joint problem and age….then I found you guys again and thought I’d order the 852 g glucosamine just to see what happened. She’s doing so well right now, comparatively….and when you write that there’s a highly palatable base, she’s 100% in agreement….and a VERY picky horse. I’ll be back to buy the 5kg tub again shortly. Just wanted to express appreciation. It’s a quality product in a fairly unregulated industry. 🙂
